2008 goals - update

...on time even!

Weight-
I have reached my Weight Watchers goal. This time next month, I will be a Lifetime member. This means I can attend meetings for free, as long as I am within 2 lbs. of my goal. Tomorrow, I have an interview with Weight Watchers' Territory Manager, to become a Leader.

Education-
The Summer quarter at SCC is complete, and I still have a 4.0 GPA. I wasn't so sure about being able to hold the 4.0, mid-way through the Business Communications class, as I only had a B+. Now I have 52 credits out of the needed 90, so I'm past the halfway mark! The Fall quarter starts tomorrow. I am taking Human Anatomy online and Women's Social Issues on campus (on Saturdays.)
In addition to credit classes, I am also taking "The Making of a Champion" class. I have been asked to be a mentor, during classes, due to my Stephens Ministry training.

Finance-
I am shifting my goal in the finance arena, but for the better. I am still striving to pay off all debts, to become debt-free. Now my focus is learning to live on 90%. For the time being, the 10% is going towards the move to Oregon. After the move, I plan to continue to live on 90%, with the other 10% to go towards either education, travel, or retirement.

Travel-
This hasn't changed since last month. There are no trips on the calendar between now and the end of the year. The girls and I are still going to be in Oregon in January, for an extended weekend trip. Other than that, I've been playing travel agent to friends...oh and my boss. That's fine by me! I love the challenge of finding the best price for trips!

Organization-
The house is more organized than it has been, but still needs improvements. I am buying one tote a week, to use for moving. Jaydee has been earning her extra spending by sorting and storing non-daily items. She also created shelves out of baskets in our vanity area, to help clear the counter top. I told her she should become the next Peter Walsh, from "Clean Sweep."

And there is the 10 month check up.

Congratulations on reaching your WW goal.
So are you now considered a junior in college?
I really could use some organization in my "computer room" and with all the papers that seem to pile up on my table. Sometimes reminds me of Mom's kitchen table.
And thats scary.

Not quite a Jr. I'm just a Sophomore, this year. I will have enough credits by next fall, so I can start at PSU as a Jr., though. Which is a good thing, because Jrs. and Srs. in the state of Oregon, qualify for paid internships.

THAT's where the "piling" comes from! lol There's a spot on my kitchen counter that accumulates papers, like that.
