It's been awhile...

Gratitude with attitude is long overdue.

1-MP3 players and other music devices. It is not a materialism gratefulness, though. Considering music triggers memories, and is one of the last things forgotten (according to the Alzheimers' studies, I've read/heard.), having this technology is a true blessing.

2-The freedom to worship, without fear of landing in prison or death. (after hearing a story earlier this week of a man who escaped death in Iraq/Iran...he was sentenced for having pages of the Bible in his possession)

3-Prayer warriors.

4-Hot showers and clean bedsheets...comforts of "home". Love to travel, but always good to be home.

5-Thank God I'm not 18 again! Love being around teens (and acting like one?), but I wouldn't go back to all the drama and garbage that goes with the late teens/early twenties.

Agree about the MP3 player. My iPod changed my life! I love not having cds all over the house and buying the music online! It's also so much easier to make a playlist. I remember working for hours on mixed cassette tapes. Ug, my age is showing!

Not showing your age at all! I've done the exact same thing. Even sat at the radio/cassette player, with my finger poised over the "record" button, waiting for a great song to play.

Doesn't anyone just open up their mouths and SING out loud anymore?
Okay, now I'm showing MY age.

Acapella and I don't play well together! Need a little background to help keep me on key.
