August 1

Wow, I can't believe it's August, already. The girls have 2 1/2 weeks until school starts. I can't wait to get back into a routine. Since they don't have to be anywhere, I've been flexible with bedtimes. Needless to say, my "quiet hour" hasn't really been quiet.

Of course with back-t0-school, comes the shopping. That is scheduled for the 11th & 12th. Which reminds me, we also need to get Kendra's violin rented.

Kendra and I went to a handbell choir performance, last night. The group of teens performing were from the country of Estonia. The last piece they played was at a very fast tempo. I think they had as much fun playing it, as we had watching.

Not much is on the calendar, this week. It's been fairly empty for the last two weeks. Just winding the summer down, I guess.

2 1/2 weeks? Yikes. Where has summer gone. Is there something the girls would like to do with us for our day with the grandkids. It is getting kind of hard to find something they all would like since there are now 2 teenagers.
