Although we were very busy over the weekend, I managed to get a lot accomplished.
All of the final equipment/needs were purchased Friday night, for camp. The girls were safely delivered to camp, Sunday. Albeit, Kendra managed to get there without a pillow...even after much ado of trying to get out of the house with my good pillow!
During the marathon shopping, I did find some of the tools I will be needing for the mission trip. I found a "paint kit" with roller, brush and pan at Dollar General for just a couple of dollars. Considering it'll be a one-use item, I didn't want to spend too much on it.
We made it to Janell's...even though mapquest had the wrong road number. We can now say we've been on the "Robert's Dairy (ads) farm"! Jaydee now knows Barn Swallows belong in the barn, and it is not necessary to call Animal Control. (oh the knowledge I take for granted) You could say, it was an eye-opener to me... I really do have "city" kids.

We enjoyed our visitors. You know how some people do "Camp Grandpa" for their grandkids? I'm formulating a plan for "Cornhusker Camp Carson" for all my grandnieces & nephews for next year.
We'll see.
