Gratitude plus

Gratitude check
- Thank God we made it through another school year!
- Thank God there has not been any major wind damage to our home.
- Thank God for the successful "Father of all Garage Sales" at Southwood, over Memorial Day weekend (despite the nasty weather!)
- Thank God (can't say this enough) for my Prayer Warriors.

"New Years Plans" update - 5 months down.

Weight loss- I keep whittling away at this. Last Saturday, I earned another 5# star at Weight Watchers. 6.2 lbs. to go to goal! I'd really like to hit this goal before August 1. Anything closer will be good though!

Travel- One more trip down, three to go (for the year). The trip to Montana/South Dakota went fairly well. No vehicle breakdowns is always a blessing. Gearing up for the trip to Idaho, as a sponsor for the youth group. 31 teens + 5 (or 6) sponsors...going to be one noisy bus! lol Really looking forward to the beauty of the Idaho panhandle! Still on deck: Flying the girls to Arizona, then I'm off to Oregon. (Stepping out of the way for a week of spoiling from Aunt Sherrie and Grandma Hudd.) The last trip of the year will be my Christmas present to us: A trip to Oregon, so the girls can see where we are moving to next year.

School- Not only have I been accepted to Portland State University, all of my credits earned so far will transfer. From here out, I can work with the admissions office to make sure the credits will transfer, before I take the class. As for the here and now, next week is the last week of classes this quarter at SCC. 9 more credit hours down!

Organization- Still plugging away at this one. The bunk beds went to the garage sale at Southwood (yay! I can park my car in the garage again!) Another 4 bags are waiting to be delivered to Goodwill. Still looking for a consignment store that takes large size clothing...on the agenda for June!

Financial- Working on paying off some of the larger debts. Since we aren't going to be using their services over the summer, I suspended our membership to the Y. It's not much, but it is an unnecessary expense.
