Whohoo! made it through finals!
Now, I'm getting ready for my favorite hobby...travel! This will be the first time I've flown since 9/11. So I'm learning all sorts of new things about TSA. I'm being conscious about the fluid ounces of each of the liquids I am carrying on. Considering this is a "quickie" trip (less than a week), I'm trying not to check any luggage on. The downside of that is the limited amount of shampoo, toothpaste, etc. I can carry on. I just hope I don't have to sit next to some unpleasant person. (headphones are a wonderful thing!) I have my croc (wannabes) and umbrella ready for the "wet" season in OR.
The downside of my trip is not being able to meet up with one of the friends I had planned on. Her daughter had heart transplant surgery just a few days ago, on Monday. For the praying people who read my blog, please pray for Whitney. She is just 17. Fortunately, she's progressing faster than the doctors had expected. Her mom is pretty much living at the hospital, for the next month. If she's anything like me, she'll be needing prayers of patience, as well.
Today is the last day for the girls, before they start Spring Break. Both are looking forward to time off from school. Kendra is not happy with the teacher who gave them a Research paper to work on over break. lol I've been informed that the Easter Bunny still needs to be allowed in the house. (I'm thinking it has more to do with the chocolate, not the eggs! lol)
HAPPY EASTER!

Hope you are having a safe trip. Whitney is in my pryers. I hope you'll tell us more about her.
